Connections that die at the door

The problem

Three hundred people in this room. Who's actually worth meeting? And what do I even say?

An attendee

At professional events people stand in a crowded room on patchy Wi-Fi, guessing who to talk to. Good connections are lost as soon as the event ends.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Join

Scan the event QR code, sign in with an email code, give explicit networking consent, and fill in a short profile.

  2. Step 2: Match, explained

AI suggestions say why: what you're looking for and what they offer, plus shared interests. Each one comes with two icebreakers.

  3. Step 3: Keep going

Connections and messages last after the event closes. Organizers get a shared inbox and honest counts of joins, requests and acceptances.

Behind the ink

How it's built, and how the AI is kept honest.

Explained, not scored

Matching gives reasons instead of a mystery percentage, with Claude through Vercel AI Gateway.

Built for a crowded room

Mobile-first, one-handed use in short bursts. It can be installed and sends opt-in device notifications for messages and replies.

Production plumbing

Supabase in Canada Central with Realtime and Edge Functions, Resend email with SPF, DKIM and DMARC passing, and Turnstile bot protection on sign-in.
